Why are Vitamin C and D important in supporting our immunity? Vitamin C prevents infections, including those caused by bacteria and viruses. Regularly administered vitamin C has been shown to shorten the duration of colds, and higher doses of vitamin C during an illness can also act as a natural antihistamine and anti-inflammatory.

Vitamin D, also known as the sunshine vitamin, is one of the most important and powerful nutrients for supporting the immune system. We get it mainly from sun exposure. 20 minutes in the morning sun is enough to replenish your reserves. Vitamin D strengthens the immune function, allowing the body to combat infections more effectively. It also suppresses inflammatory processes.
