Programme Description
Hils Learning conducts the Davis Dyslexia Program, which involves 30 hours of one-on-one work over a 5-day period. This includes: 

• The Perceptual Ability Assessment 
• A screening aimed at uncovering the child’s strengths and assessing their challenges 
• A parent interview 
• 5 days of intervention (5 contact hours each day for 5 days: 9am – 12pm, lunch break, 1 – 3pm) 
• Parent consultation as to outcomes of the Davis Dyslexia Correction Program and recommendations on how to carry forward strategies learned

It also includes a comprehensive take-home kit, comprising: 

• The Davis Student Manual, complete with what the student has accomplished and how to continue to master the skills learned
• The Gift of Dyslexia by Ron Davis
• Three koosh balls
• A dictionary
• Two blocks of clay
• A list of trigger words

Before starting the program, the Davis provider will perform a Perceptual Ability Assessment, an exercise that helps determine whether the student has innate visual conceptualization skills often tied to dyslexia. 

The two major components of the Davis Dyslexia Correction program are Orientation Counseling and Symbol Mastery.

Davis Dyslexia Correction Program:
RM12,000 + 6% GST
