Bringing the Fun Back to Bahasa Malaysia
Due to popular demand, we are Bringing the Fun Back to Bahasa Malaysia with the next round of our Saturday workshops.
Each workshop includes:
A 20-minute assessment prior to the commencement of the workshop for facilitators to gain a better understanding of the child; and
A ½ hour optional parent consultation immediately after each workshop to demonstrate how parents can reinforce and carry forward techniques learnt
Children will be guaranteed individual attention, with a maximum teacher-student ratio of 1:3.
Learning Objectives
Build the student’s interest and confidence in learning Bahasa
Ensure mastery of the basic suku kata components
Provide practical ways for the student to practise decoding based on suku kata
Develop the student's ability to form simple sentences in Bahasa
Enable the student to carry out basic conversations in Bahasa
Methods
Kinaesthetic methods (E.g. treasure hunts, obstacle race)
Visual methods (E.g. arts and crafts, drawing)
Practical role play scenarios (E.g. selling/buying items, puppet show)
Music related activities (E.g. sing-along, song writing)
A variety of exciting games and activities
